Mobile GPUs : ATI vs nVidia

I am buying a laptop before March, and of course I want mind-boggling 3D-graphics.
According to what I've seen, the ATI M4 4xAGP 32MB seems to be the top performer right now. I see that nVidia will be shipping GeForce 2 Go and ATI, a mobile version of the Radeon chip. Does anyone have any clue how these three chips stack up against each other, and what the pick is (especially before March) ?

ATI hs got much more expierence in the Moblie market, so I think, the conversion from Rage to Radeon will be smoother than whatever nvidia has (if anything) to the GeForce2, considering the performance of the two chips are very similar.
