MNF 2001 Season, Dennis Miller Review from first game.

ok folks, after a rocky start, Dennis Miller returned for then opening game of Monday Night Football last night, and here's my review.

Football Knowledge: C+ ok Dennis doesn't know that much, but he does a smart thing and always goes "Danno, why do they do that..." and then Fouts explains, I kinda like that.

Humor: B+ not incredibly funny, nothing like the "crotch cam" from last year, but I thought it was funny when he thought that those were Ron Yari's kids. turned a little mistake into a humorous moment.

Overall: B, not bad, certainly better than Gifford, Dierdorf, or Esasian.

Erik Dickerson review: Who does this jibba jabba ebonics loving marble mouth have dirty photos of? I can't believe that he was kept on for a second season.

Melissa Stark: OUCH A- didn't really contribute anything football wise, but she was TIGHT in that sleeveless shirt. Leslie Visser, eat your heart out.

I know it's not gonna happen, but miller needs to stick to words that have at least a small connection to football. describing a defensive holding penalty as 'that's more than holding, that's caressing' is not what I want to hear while watching a game.

I wish they'd let Heupel play more....hell, OU receivers are better than the Dolphins receivers..
