Hmm I'm tempted. Although, I barely played the beta last weekend because I just wasn't really all that interested in playing it or what seemed like any other game, but I definitely played it quite a bit during the previous stress test that I was in. Personally, I'd really like to see their revamped UI in action as I'm still not a fan of what's currently in the game. Some of the elements are very small and other elements are smooshed together with very little indication that you're dealing with selectable options. I know there were times when I'd get a quest pop-up, and I didn't even realize that there was an option that I needed to click.
I also still can't seem to figure out where an inn is, but maybe that's because I'm too low level. :hmm:

I had much more fun after the noob zone ended. A bit too much tree hugger hippy lore but overall it was a good time. I'm still nit a fan of doing 1000 easy quests with ! And arrows to direct you. I'd much prefer fewer quests that are harder and being able to roam around and kill stuff to level. Also the world seemed large enough and didn't have one path to follow zone to zone

Outside of the combat, this game doesn't really offer anything new IMO. It's a themepark MMO in every sense of the words "theme park". I suppose that's fine but I've been in closed beta for a few months and the more I play the game, the less I want to.
I'm actually looking forward to ESO now than I was with Wildstar.

I have to agree with you on all points. I didn't play Wildstar as much, but I just wasn't nearly as interested as I thought I would be. I felt a bit rushed and had no attachment to anything I was doing. I had much more fun with the ESO beta despite all the crap it gets. Not sure i'll purchase either game, but so far ESO is more fun to me.

I've not had the opportunity to play this yet. One of my friends got into the beta and has decided he loves it. I can't get over the fact that it looks like someone vomited skittles all over the screen. I've watched some raid streams and some other videos and I just can't see why everyone is so hyped about it.
I've been in a few of the beta weekends for ESO and while initially I wasn't super impressed, the game grew on me the more I played it. I'm actually looking forward to it being released. It will most likely fail but I've been having fun.

I have the same thoughts about ESO. I hated it at first but now I love it (despite the last beta build being super buggy).
Wildstar... meh. I'm in the closed beta (or was) and I haven't bothered to log in for a few weeks. It's just so stale and "more of the same" that I can't be bothered. This will be the first MMO in a while that I won't be pre-ordering and I've bought some trash.

I can't access it at work either, so I did it through my phone...! :sneaky:
I actually went through the entire registration process for it to yell at me that the username was taken. So, I threw one of my usual passwords in with the username, and voila!

I got that e-mail as well, but I didn't post the code because of the one line below it...
It sounds like these are one-time use only codes specifically for Wildstar that are sent out to GMG members. I wasn't entirely sure if that was just awkward wording, but what makes me think it is a unique code is the fact that your code is different than mine.
Looks good! I'm still working my way through FFXIV, but maybe I'll hop on this sometime and give things a shot. The colorful style and aesthetics are what originally drew me into WoW.

I've had full beta access for a while now. The game is actually really good. It's not doing anything particularly innovative, but it has elements of everything out there in it and does it all rather well.
I think this one will manage to stick around for a while. Nothing will ever really eclipse WoW, as stagnant and stale as it is, because it has the leverage of momentum in user base that keeps it dominant by virtue of players wanting to play the 'it' game.
It is well done though. From what I've read many of the developers of the original base game of WoW and the TBC expansion are behind development of Wildstar and it shows when you play it.

I agree. I think WildStar will be a solid MMO and has a lot of features to keep people interested. I may not wow anyone with it's game play, but it makes up for it with it's humor & personality and the insane amount of features/things to do.
