With all your drooling over cars, I am going to have to send you a drool cup or an adult bib to keep it off your keyboard. ;)

Nice btw. :D

Only 90% of that Torque is available at 1800rpm, read more carefully.

90% of 405ftlb isn't that much torque. ;)

369 lb-ft of torque is still a hell of a lot of torque. Same as an M5 and and just 6 shy of a regular C5 Corvette.

Ah geez...365 pounds at 1800 RPMs. That's only enough to snap your neck. If we'd get all that 405 ftlb, we'd probably bite through our tongues and crack a couple teeth :p

Yeah, main thing, it is too heavy to be in front of the front wheels. Figure out how to get it Behind the front axil.

Not bad, but 420HP from 12 cylindars isn't the most impressive thing in the world. Still a very nice engine and an interesting config to see come mainstream :)

<< Needless to say, it is considerably more powerful than the 367hp Mercedes V12 with 200 c.c. and 12 valves less and the 326hp BMW old V12 with 600 c.c. and 24 valves less. >>

More powerful than some. Perhaps not up to speed with Ferrari, or even Dodge (well that's a 10cyl not 12, and is 2L bigger), but still respectable.

its basically 3 VR6 engines mounted on a 120-degree plane, meaning 60 degrees between each bank.

<< oh my....that's kind of nutty :Q >>

yup, its very complicated mechanically, as all three engines are sharing a common crankshaft, and being able to run the exhaust pipes and everything through all that isnt an easy task.

if you wanna read in length, go read this whole page:
