I'm super simple with ham leftovers. Brown up a think chunk in cast iron, top it with some pepper jack and throw on a toasted kings hawaiian roll.

Veggies are what makes the sandwich. Color, texture and, different flavors showcase the meats and cheese. If all you eat on your sandwich is meat and cheese, why even bother with bread? Some of the folks I feed would eat beer battered rocks and chase it with a shot of ranch. Monsanto needs to hurry up with the blue pill.
