They had some in at the local dealership yesterday.. Talked the dealer into letting me test drive one around the block. Man that is a sweet car. And that whacky sunroof is starting grow on me. Lots of power too. I definetly liked it.

I still say it looks like a stretched Saturn Ion. If I didn't know that was the new Maxima I would have sworn it was the next Saturn L series.
Wonder if they all used the same design studio. 😛
 
It does look better in person. It's so much bigger than an Ion that you definitely wouldn't confuse the two.

Still looks a little weird, though.
 
I definately like the angled-rear-end pics of the car. Really makes it look classy. I wonder if that grill on the front is just tacked on though? If its easy to come off, it will look good.

Some people already bought on at Maxima.org and are enjoying it. They say it is much uch more refined than the previous Maximas.
 
Know what I really HATE about the newer Nissans... the damn intergration of the stereo into the dash. It 's going to make it a pain in the a$$ to replace it w/ a nice aftermarket system. That really pisses me off!

In this car class...I'd rather have a Chrysler 300M...and I bet the Chrysler will smoke this once the new RWD models come out (300N?)

I saw a commercial for these last night during 24... I think it's the first time I've seen the new one. I really like it. 🙂 Looked real good in black.
