I have never eaten a fish sandwhich at a fast food chain. Kind of freaks me out for some stupid reason.

Are you catholic?

the last places of worship i've been to: (in order)

babtist church
jewish synagogue
mormon church
disciples of christ christian church
catholic church

i worship at none of them.

i'm aware of the eating fish on fridays during lent thing, but really, i'm just taking advantage of cheap fish filets >.>

@ mcdonalds.

man, why are these things so good?

I love McD's filet 'o fish, but when the sandwich itself is over $3.50 and the value meal is like $5.50+, they can go cram it.

I ain't paying that much for something that takes like 4 bites to finish.

At my local McD's, they're $1.29 for a sammich. They use to be $1 last lent. :(

then you'd be wrong.

BK Big Fish is awesome compared to the filet'o fish.

They used to be better, though.

Think one reason they're better than the McDonald's version is there's no cheese.

Cheese on fish is icky. :(

Not stupid IMO, I'm with you. Probably because they aren't really a filet, rather minced "whitefish" and oils pressed together and breaded? Sorry if I am being a downer, but as much as I love fish I can't remember the last time I have had any fast food style.

Would rather eat a can of tuna with some mustard and crackers, white albacore if possible.

Anyone tried the Salmon burger patties from Costco? Now those I can grub on.

why the hate on "whitefish"? it's alaskan pollock, hoki, or cod. pretty simple, and all good fish.

That is true... I never remember the darn cheese is going to be on it until I've driven off, though - maybe it's because it's weird it's on there in the first place. o_O

Sorry, I put "whitefish" as that usually covers pollock, cod, etc from the Bering. I love cod myself, but they ruin it by adding in all the oils and breading IMO.
