What's the point of concept cars if the manufacturers never intend to build anything like them?

I've wondered that myself. Some of them aren't even that expensive to produce. They're just cool ideas, executed well. That of course means they'll be neutered to make them like every other car on the street :^S

Some are, but others look ready for release. Nothing too ridiculous, or expensive. They just don't cause they're fucktards.
