Mmmmm, Buffalo steak!

I went to Sedona 2 weeks ago and got a Buffalo steak at the 'Cowboy Club'.
Mmmmm, very tasty.

Where can I get this stuff elsewhere, supermarket, which one?

I see buffalo burgers at places. The people I eat out with make a face. I want to order one just to gross them out.

They're being raised for meat now, and there is a great resurgence of them in the wild as well. As a matter of fact, the wild buffalo are becoming a menace to many ranchers, as they spread disease to cattle.

They sell it at my local Whole Foods market. I bought a sirloin steak. I tasted different in a way that told me I prefer beef.

Buffalo is way too lean for my tastes to be eaten in steak or roast or ground form. It is good, however, in chilis, stews, smothered, etc.

There are a few farms here that raise them for food around here. I have heard the are pretty good.

My grandma used to send me about 6 buffalo steaks every other week, unfortunately they were about $25 apiece though. Best steak I've ever tasted though.
