Tripple buffalo burger with salt, black and red(not cayenne)pepper, garlic salt..

Cheddar Jack cheese on each patty, with maple smoked bacon, lettuce, onion and shredded carrots on a sesame bun w/ mayo.

It is good, but most places over cook it. You need to order it medium to medium rare to really get it juicy like a normally cooked beef burger.

Because of the lack of fat they tend to dry out very quickly.

I just made it myself.. baked it in the oven with the slices of bacon in between the patties. 😀

It's juicy and delicious.

Every time I've had Buffalo (only 3 or 4 times) I've thought it tasted a lot like Venison/Deer, which always makes me ill. 🙁

Unless it became a financially better alternative to Beef, I can't see the logic in seeking it out as a food source.

Seems that right now, it just a "cool hunter type thing" to eat.

Ive always wanted to try it out, it sounds delicious.

FOr keeping hamburger patties moist, Cook's Illustated recomends adding milk and bread crumbs to your mixture, and then forming the patty around a dollop of garlic butter.
