The difference is that this Vette will more than likely actually be deserving of the name. Pontiac just took a random car from Australia and stuck a historic name on it; I don't know why they thought people would just take it sitting down.

It will be an instant collectible much more because of what's under the hood (and in the chassis) than because of the name

As long as they keep the weight distrbutation as good as it is on the Z06. Hopefully for 100k the hood and mirrors won't flap and there will be some leather on the inside.
