I say pea-khan. :)

But you can disregard this post. I am thoroughly disgusted with this thread since it's counterpart was locked, and I hope it dies. :|:(

Yay. My dad bought another Pecan pie.

Fortunately, I know that the milk is good this time, so I can look forward to that.

And, I'm going to warm my slice up this time, as suggested. :)

Wow, my pie is sizzling. Guess I left it in there too long. ;)

Thanks to Blain for the suggestion to warm it up. It's definately better.. at least from the little bites I've been able to take so far. ;)

I have no idea, it's a store bought pie.. lol

Sorry, I'm a pecan pie purist. :D

TheCorm, pecan pie has lots of butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in it. In fact, it's a pretty simple thing:

Pie crust
Grade AA Butter
Corn Syrup
Salt
Vanilla
Brown Sugar
Pecans

Simple, incredibly fattening, but delicious.
I need to add to the ingredients above. Trust me. It has gotten me girls with this one.

3 eggs
white granulated sugar to go with the brown sugar
chocolate morsels (hershey okay, giradelli better)
3 oz. burbon (preferably Maker's Mark)

recipe later (I'm at work now)

Lookin forward to that.

My little additive secret to pie...
When your makin apple pie, add those little Red Hot candies. They end up meltin in the pie when it cooks and give it a nice cinnimon spicy kick. Mmmmmmm.....Sooooo good......
Thats actually Grandma's little trick, but I stole it :D

How long did you nuke it for?

It's tough to determine the right amount of time to warm the ENTIRE pie without getting the center cold or frying the entire slice.

I only warmed up a slice.

I put it in there for 30 seconds on "medium" then another 30 seconds or so on high.. was a little overkill.
