Where are the pecans from?

It had better be Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama.

I hope you're going to warm it up and not eat it cold! :)

I like mine with some fresh brewed black coffee.

Sorry, I'm a pecan pie purist. :D

TheCorm, pecan pie has lots of butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in it. In fact, it's a pretty simple thing:

Pie crust
Grade AA Butter
Corn Syrup
Salt
Vanilla
Brown Sugar
Pecans

Simple, incredibly fattening, but delicious.

Excellent.....Touches finger in Mr Burns style....6 months later after many pecan pies....does the same with very chubby fingers.

I used to love Pecan Pie also but then I went into the Air Force.

They served it at every meal so after 365 days x 4 (years) + 1 day for leap year x 3, sometimes 4 meals a day, I got burned out on it. Same thing with Roast Beef almost. Never order or eat either now.

Wodner if they still do that? :)

Which store did you buy it from?

Sometimes I get a serious hankering for good apple pie, peach pie, and pecan pie!

I need to add to the ingredients above. Trust me. It has gotten me girls with this one.

3 eggs
white granulated sugar to go with the brown sugar
chocolate morsels (hershey okay, giradelli better)
3 oz. burbon (preferably Maker's Mark)

recipe later (I'm at work now)
