Mmmm.. Got my 4870x2 cards on the way

*whips out calculator*

25 x $550 each (I'm lowballing here) = $13750

Maybe he ordered them for enterprise use? Folding farm? Internet gaming cafe? Just plain filthy rich?

IIRC, I read on a different forum that someone was able to get ahold of a couple at vendor pricing and said they were around $515.

OP, what brand are you getting. Where and when will you sell them? I'll buy one from ya..

wow! screw yal! i was mainly posting this to let everyone know newegg is carrying them now. no, i'm not going to price gouge on ebay. give me a break. i'll make a note not to sell anything to you guys at a very reasonable (below online pricing) price. i actually got a lot more than 25, that was just 25 sapphires.

LOL. No need to get uptight at a few impertinent questions. I'm sure you've shrugged off worse in the past five years.

How many X2s in total are you turning over?

fun stuff, but be forwarned...

Last rule on the FS/T forums.
No "dealers" or vendors of any kind. If you acquire items in quantity (bulk sales) with the intent of offering them for resale, here, you are a dealer under this rule. In addition, you may not place URL's in your posts, profile or signature that link to an offsite FS/T list.

When you make posts like this you are basically advertising you are a bulk dealer and when you sell something off in the FS/T forums you are technically breaking the rules.

i'm not technically a dealer or reseller. i just get myself extra ones and then sometimes end up selling them off. no different than people buying those crazy microcenter deals or price mistakes at compusa and the selling them off. it's not like i have any and everything readily available. whatever i can get extra of, i get, upgrade my PCs, sell the extra ones i don't end up using, and then sell my "old" hardware like my 9800GX2, 3870x2, etc. 🙂

Actually, from what you've posted in this thread, you're a dealer.

it's not like i sell to try and make money either. i just try and get the money back i paid for them if i don't use them. if it's violating the rules, i will no longer do it. i pm'd a mod to ask and if so, i won't do it.

anyway, anybody else get their 4870x2's in?

That's a different story, then, at least as far as I know. If you're just lucky enough to be able to grab X amount of cards at dealer prices, then sell them at your cost to friends and family, along with some AT'ers (plus shipping, obviously), you wouldn't be a dealer.
