I just picked up a second philips 15" 150s1c LCD monitor, and a ATI Xpert 128 16mb PCI video card.

having 2 desktops is sweet.

How do you move things from one desktop to the other? I was thinking of modding my new lian-li case with a 5.6" LCD screen and using a cheap PCI card to power it, but I dont know how dual displays work.

You can jsut drag things across to the other monitor. When the mouse goes off the edge off one screen, it shows up on the edge of the other.

Lucky: you can just drag stuff back and forth. the main desktop has the taskbar/clock/etc. and the second desktop has.. whatever you drag over there.

umm you have to have nview on your geforce card, or the equivalent on your current main video card.

I have a GF3 ti200 128mb w/ nview, and i just turned on nview in the little gainward installer, but you can probably turn it on in display properties too.

Once you have the second video card and monitor hooked up, under the settings tab in display properties, go down to the second display, and then click the check box to "Extend my Windows Desktop onto this monitor"

Lcd's are a worse picture than CRT?

HAHAHAHAHAHA. That's quite humorous.

Have you ever seen an LCD? I have 3 in my house (18, 15, 15) and 2 at work.
