mmm... corned beef

That it would, MichaelD. That it would.

Can't say I'm a fan of the cabbage aspect, however.

I love corned beef! The cabbage though...well...YUCK. 😛

Cabbage = yuck.
Sourkraut (sp?) = yuck.
Kimshi = yuck.

So, essentially; Cabbage = Yuck, bad, disgusting, intolerable.

(Homer Simpson)mmmm Corned Beef....(/Homer Simpson)

Prepared with carrots, potatoes, onions, & cabbage.

Although I don't care for the cabbage.

I think I'll stock up on corned beef next week when the supermarkets have it marked down. And of course, lots of cabbage.

Cabbage can be absolutely delicious. IMO corned beef and cabbage, if cooked right, has lots of pepper, and the cabbage comes out sort of translucent. The cabbage is delicious with butter, but even more so with mustard. It takes on some of the flavor of the meat and other ingredients.
