Joe Buck always does that. I've always found it kind of weird saying Smoltz will join him in a minute, and it's literally a minute before the camera pans over to him.

Just noticed that Joe Buck always opens being by himself in the frame before letting Smoltz step into frame. Had it always been like that? Is that a Fox thing or a Joe Buck ego thing?

Also in my opinion Smoltz is an awesome analyst

Yeah, Smoltz is awesome. really digging his stuff. It's why I loved Stoney when he was doing color for the Cubs those years. Just always on top of their shit with what the pitcher was thinking, how they were performing, all their little motions and nerves, where the very next pitch would be. Stoney is a bit more acerbic and funny though, which I appreciate.

Good god that would be something if Tomlin has to come out in the 2nd inning. The Cubs would want nothing more than for Cleveland to torch their bullpen tonight.

While he got a decent hack at it, Baez should be on a strict no swinging until 2 strikes probation.

heh, that's what I assumed was happening at that at bat. "I don't care what you see: you aren't swinging at the first two pitches tonight!" Can't believe he held off on that 0-2 pitch in the dirt, though. 😀

If only someone would have mentioned like three games ago how thin the indians would be at pitcher if this series went long.

🙂

Pissed at each other? Is something going on between those two other than the first inning miscommunication and dropped ball?
Nah, Naquin should have called for it and screwed that up. On that play Naquin did call for it and Chisenhall basically said fuck off and caught it. No trust for each other.

Yeah, and it might speak true to what others said as well: Cubs just need to win every non-Kluber game. Ah well...

But they actually hit him pretty well in game 4 and now with Schwarber back in the lineup, everyone batting way more confident, could be doom for Kluber's 3rd start. Man, what a a crazy game tomorrow night should be (not that this is over...yet...but well, come one. It kinda is.)

Which part of his groin-pelvic area should we all be staring at to see what you are seeing?
Frankly I don't know how you'd miss it. I'm no baseball fan by any means but his stance is really awkward and hard to not notice.

He also does the finger guns whenever he gets on base
