Mentioned that previously, will be real interesting how the indians staff responds if the series go deep. They've played and set up lineups to prevent that, but now we've got game six due up.

Cubs are not batting well (or Indians are just that good pitching) and every time I turned the game back on the Indians had someone in scoring position. Don't look too good for the Cubs.

The Today Show's headline: "Will Cleveland Clinch - Make-or-Break Game six tonight against Cubs"

How the hell is it a "Make-or-Break" game for Cleveland?

I'm not feeling the tribe at home the next 2 games, this series has taken on the 99 alds and 07 ALCS vibe.

Cubbies gonna win it all.

It could have at least said, "for Cubs"

I'm arguing semantics, but it just looks like a poor understanding of what's at stake.

I would say "but Francona!", except he's never gone to a game 7 (or 6!), so the curse for your Indians may be on.

Oh I'm prepared for defeat. It's Indians baseball so they can get to the verge of greatness and fall ever so short.

MLB just needs to stop the series and make them co World Series champions.

No such thing as coincidence! 108 is the magic number!

Also, don't forget that the dimensions of the Noah's Ark, as commanded by God, were 52 x 32 x 24 cubits. That adds up to....108! The Bible has predicted that the Cubs will win the WS 108 years after their previous win. It's proven!
ha... yea, well. or it could just be totally up to the guys on the field and coaching.

Nonsense!

Hammurabi's code contained 75 rules and laws to govern citizens, 18 descriptions of effective leadership, 10 laws to regulate trade between nations, and 5 recipes for the proper fermentation of ale.

108! The Cubs will win.

and I think Hammurabi was a goat farmer too. So....

Cubs must be a glutton for punishment since they're keeping Baez in the lineup.
this may be the reason behind that

His defense is incredible but I agree, because offense is just so much more important in baseball. That being said....he makes some spectacular pick plays making outs and saving potential runs, which is kinda like creating 0.5 a run for the Cubs that he otherwise would not be making when he swings at pitches heading for the stands.

one of them most, if not the most amazing tag moves in MLB. just ridiculous how fast he gets that tag on, and accurately too. If defense vs offense is a wash for Heyward, it's definitely a wash for Javy. That kid will have many, many, many gold gloves.

Just noticed that Joe Buck always opens being by himself in the frame before letting Smoltz step into frame. Had it always been like that? Is that a Fox thing or a Joe Buck ego thing?

Also in my opinion Smoltz is an awesome analyst
