i never envisioned this series at 3-1 indians. insane... the pitching reminds me of the '95 braves. but none of their starters were injured.

GO TRIBE

This ain't over yet the cubs very well could rip off 3 in a row. The pitching matchups will be:

Bauer v. Lester game 5
Tomlin v. Arieta game 6
Kluber v. Hendrix game 7

Unless the tribe can really get some runs this could get real ugly quick.

Well, it's not like they have had a problem with that so far 😀 But I agree: it's hard to make bold proclamations at this point, especially considering these two teams, with a legendary history of hilarious failure and disappointment in a most spectacular fashion.

If fate is in any way real, the Cubs will battle back to a game 7, with the Indians losing a 3-2 game thanks to a fan interference call at the top of the 11th inning giving the Cubs the go-ahead and eventual WS-winning run.

If the Cubs are gonna win it they better just destroy the tribe.

There is a big difference getting straight up outplayed vs blowing a late inning lead.

No matter what, a great season for Cleveland. They have given the city and the state of Ohio something to be proud of.

It ain't over until it's over. The last time the Indians were in a best-of-7 before this postseason, they were up 3-1 and lost.

I was at the last game they won of that series. 07 vs Boston, Paul Byrd and Casey Blake led the tribe to a good win.

Alas it wasn't meant to be, just like 97 and perhaps this year. We shall see.

Of course, a big difference between this year and that one is that in 2007, CC Sabathia and Fausto Carmona both shat the bed against Boston, whereas pitching this year is completely shutting down the Cubs.

Heck yeah they were terrible after being pretty good in that series. Outscored around 30-5 in those 3 games.

Sigh your bringing up repressed memories.

It's kind of pathetic that Fox would rather show football talk than any pre-game World Series stuff. Granted, Alex Rodriguez and Pete Rose are both total jackasses.

The football game had a pretty good ending. Green Bay lost so that was nice to see. It will be depressing if the Cubs lose 3 games in Wrigley. They will never hear the end of it. Those T-shirts will be a bad Omen "Try not to suck".

Pete Rose really is the creepy dirty uncle that scares all the young kids in the family. That cackle makes your skin crawl.

Those Indians pitchers hanging out in the bullpen related to Mike Tomlin, by chance?

Was Kipnis taking batting practice with the Cubs earlier today?

The Cubs don't even look like they like each other. Rizzo and Ross couldn't agree on who called the ball, and Ross coldly jogged away after smashing his elbow into Rizzo's face.
