Yeah Baez has been worthless this series. If I'm Madden I sit him tomorrow to send a message and start Zobrist at 2B. He has options for the OF

Those errors were brutally costly. Not only would the game have been closer, but Lackey would probably have enough in the tank to pitch a strong 6th inning.

What? It's not even the 7th inning yet.

Cubs can't hit for shit and down 3 runs Kluber plus that bp.

Cubs chances are pretty abysmal at this point.

Of course I typed this all on purpose, at just this moment...because I am always wrong. ...but need to score now at this ab or Kluber is out with another runner on, and then it could be goodnight.

Watching the replay of Crisp, I'll never understand why major league players don't run hard every time. That wasn't as glaring of an example, but he was basically jogging until he saw that the ball dropped. Ortiz used to drive me insane the way he would trot up to first.

They are done. Congrats to the Indians. An amazing run especially from a pitching perspective. They beat 3 great teams considering their lineup is a bunch of no-names outside of Santana and Lindor. Sucks for the Cubs but I really like Francona so I guess I'm at least happy for him.

Okay, no need to post in this thread anymore.

Miller keeps throwing strikes and looking genuinely surprised when Fowler makes contact. Also, why is he pitching?

Edit - Hahaha
