Yeah seeing Kershaw (arguably the best pitcher of this generation, if not possibly our lifetimes depending on how things play out) do well in the post season would be nice. My son (not on purpose) throws in an almost identical motion and is a lefty, so I have a soft-spot for Clayton. Too bad the Dodgers didn't get my Braun in time. He would have helped tipped the scales I think in that series.
 
Not sure why the Jays / Rangers game is at 3:30pm Central. People will miss most or all of it. They must not want viewers.
If it were Friday, I'd understand, considering the Friday football.

They always do that format in the DS games. They bank on the other game attracting more viewers.

Thor pitched as good as Mad Bum -- if not better. Mets couldn't be patience and let Mad Bum get out of innings quick and that kept him in the game longer (the goal with Madison hs to be make him work and get him out by the 7th inning -- don't help him stay in the game. Giants would have been better going down on Ks than swinging on pitch #3 every time. Giants were patient and worked Thor and he hit his PC and had to exit. Even though he got a pile of Ks. That game was destined to be decided by the bullpen and Giants won that chess game.

It's a shame since now we won't get to see Bartolo Colon pitch and bat in the post-season. Would have been the ultimate awesomeness (not to mention troll) if they were up big in a game and put Bartolo in as a pinch runner.

LOVE Big Sexy. He's sort of the butt of a lot of jokes (rightfully so) and somewhat gets lost in that Mets rotation, but he's an excellent pitcher.
 
The problem with postseason MLB is that it's postseason MLB. Game time was 3:15 for 9 innings with only 9 hits and no pitching change delays. A game like that should take 1:45.

Blue Jays won game 2 but they sucked. Couldn't get a single 1-2-3 inning late in the game, got out-hit bad all game. They just beat up on the starter a bit. They went through half their bullpen despite a 4 run lead.
