Full Story

Rafael Palmeiro said a vitamin he received from Miguel Tejada might have caused the positive test for steroid use that led to the first baseman's suspension, an assertion his Baltimore Orioles teammate dismissed as implausible.

This is pathetic. While he isn't saying Tejada gave him steroids, he knows full well Tejada is going to get a lot of crap for this. This is exactly what you don't do to your teammates.

Yep, it's sure looking that way now. I can't even imagine how miserable he must be now. One week he gets his 3000th hit and has the entire nation thinking he's honest, hard-working, and steriod-free. Fast-forward a few weeks and he's hated, out of baseball, and a RAT.

out of curiousity... who do you guys think is a more of a disgrace, rocker or palmeiro ? i have a feeling its going to be lopsided though since its been awhile since the rocker incident.

I think if this hurts Tejada's reputation, its the jerk who leaked the story to the press who has the most fault. Palmeiro has some blame yes, but its that annonymous jerk who should be found and fired. Whoever did it knew full well that this story would hurt Tejada's reputation and send Baltimore into more turmoil.

Palmerio for sure. Rocker's just an idiot. You listen to him and you don't get the feeling that he's an angry hateful person. He's just stupid.

Palmerio on the other hand is a liar, a cheater, a rat, and, lest we forget, steriods are illegal.

It makes sense, though. This is Mr. Little Blue Miracle after all. If he's juicing one stick why wouldn't he juice the other? I'd love nothing more than to see him stripped of all his numbers and banned from the game.
