SIT DOWN AND STFU, NY!!!!

Come on man...this was an incredible series. NY has some classy fans and a classy club. They haven't done anything against us. Dont start that no matter what emotion.

true, true... it's been an incredible series and the mets are a classy team. i retract my taunt.

There better be some nasty ass play at the plate or something... I'll be damned if I get this hyped up for Beltran to hit a flyball straight up or something.

Very sad but the Mets offense was almost nonexistant since the first inning. Suppan was outstanding and he deserved the win. The Mets had plenty of opportunities but never cashed in and made things interesting in the 9th. Amazing how the weak hitting Yadier Molina hurt the Mets big time this series. Go figure.

Congrats to the Cards. Tigers are the huge favorite and I expect them to win but like this series showed ya just never know.

This was the most fun Mets season ever for me (I'm 30) and I can't say anything bad about what went on during the year. I am not interested in watching the World Series to be honest though I may peek in a few games to see if the Tigers live up to the "Team of Destiny" label they were slapped with.

Its now time for the off season but I will take a long breather from the Mets and this thread.

Happy offseason Mets fans.

Good to see Beltran live up to that bloated contract of his.

How the hell do you let a pitch that close go by for a called 3rd strike? LOL!

<sigh> Our $119million MVP couldn't come through when we needed him the most.

Mets had their chances, but couldn't come through when they needed to.

The starting rotation next year for the Mets should be interesting, with guys like Maine and Perez making strong presentations this postseason.

Well said except how is a happy off season when you don't go the distance???

As an Astros fan, I can't tell you how sweet that was watching Beltran stand there with his bat on his shoulder on that strikeout.
