MLB and Topps....

Anyone else pissed that Topps got the official approval of MLB?

I was just looking at some Topps cards and Upper Deck cards for this season and the Topps cards look like utter shit compared to Upper Deck, which is pretty much how it has been for quite a while.

when i was a wee lad spending all my allowance on baseball cards (about 20 years ago) it went like this:

Upperdeck>>> Topps > Donruss

favorite cards: Upperdeck of MJ and a Topps of (Sandy?) Alomar w/ a printing splotch on it... oh those were the days

Yeah UD has always been better. Donruss was pretty good at one time too. I have a lot of Donruss RC's.

Upper Deck and Fleer Ultra were my favorites back in the day, they looked so much better.
Man, I still got all my cards in a box, the whole things probably not worth 10 bucks now.

Yeah unless you have some of the really old or rare cards they are unfortunately not worth that much.

I had a lot of Canseco when he was good and those I'm sure have tanked.

Why have they tanked? Aren't they supposed to go up in value with age?

i remember when him and big mac were all the rage amongst my friends... then all of a sudden this "will clark" guy came along and everybody would trade a canseco/mac/ricky for him... i made a killing! 😛
