MLB 2K10 .... XBOX 360 Controller

Weird that you can't get the controller to work. My 360 wireless controller works absolutely perfectly (I'm on Win 7 Pro x64).

Anyone here know how to set up the 360 controller for MLB 2K10 ? I have read quite a bit online about the issue, but the controller just don't seem to work.

In controller settings, the controller is recognized though. And has button mappings set. But in game it wont work...although the menu's work fine with the controller.

Any suggestions ?

EDIT: It also works flawless with Devil May Cry 4 as well.

I had the same problem with my GameStop branded XBox controller, and I fixed it by going into the controller setup area and manually assigning the left and right stick movements to the proper commands. The only category I had to do it for was pitching, as batting was already configured properly. The first time I actually pitched to a batter, I struck him out!

UPDATE: my controller seems to be working fine all of the sudden. The key for me seems to be starting the game and not touching the mouse at all.

I was going to download the overlays, but Norton told me that site was chock full of virii. So users beware!
