MK9 online issues

Ok, I not sure whats going on with this whole online play for MK9 but I can not seem to join a room. Eveytime I try to join a room it says that the mortal kombat server is down. Now I have heard people say to play some ranked matches and then try to join the room, that doesnt freaking work. I have erase my kombat kode and then downloaded it again and that doesnt work. My whole perspective on the online MK9 is starting to change, dont get me wrong the game is great but the online game play sucks! 😡
