Mixing Ram

If i mix brands of ram is that a problem. Currently I have samsung memory if I buy Ocz memory will that be a problem.

There is no problem mixing RAM, but if they are rated at different speeds then the slower speed will be the dominant chip. Ie, 1 stick of PC 133 and one stick of PC 100 will make both sticks run at PC100.

I mix different brand RAM (But same speed) all the time and have had no problems. Although I don't recommend putting your faith in generic pos RAM.

Ya I heard ocz is crap , What if i mix different size modules? For example i have 256 mb 333 samsung I want to buy a 512 mb 333 samsung memory, IF i install both of them will there be a problem?
