mixing ram

I currently have 2x512mb DDR400 TwinMos ram, I can add another 2x1gb Kingston ValueRam, would that be ok?
I know a lot would say get same brand, but I think they're the same as they are value ram, nothing special, they should work. Plus, the TwinMos would be in dual channel together and the Kingston would be in dual channel together.

It should/could be OK.

But you won't know it for sure until/unless you install the new RAM.

Make sure that the frequencies, timings (including the subtimings, if possible), and voltage are the same for both sets.

The key is to make sure that both sets of memory can function at the same voltage and timings as you have set.

oh, I can't know all that since I'm away from the computer (not in the country). What I know is that it's PC3200 DDR400, that's it. What happens if the voltage or timings are different?

If one set won't function at 2.6v and requires 2.7 or something and/or won't run at 3-3-3-5 for instance, you will have problems.

I already have these 512mb in dual channel. I could get two of these, since they're both 2.6v, correct?
