Mixing RAM

I have a noob question! Woo! :D

So, at the moment I have 2x1gb sticks of Crucial Ballistix (DRR800). I also happen to have 2x1gb sticks of Corsair VS (DDR667). I was planning on selling the VS, but as the price has crashed I'd lose too much cash, so I might just wait and try and sell it when the price rises again ;)

Anyway. As I have the Corsair lying around, I thought I may as well try and stick it in the PC with the Crucial :) Obviously they're at different speeds, but the Corsair will easily OC to DDR 800 so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm running Vista 32 so I realise all 4GB won't be usable, but at least if I put the 4 sticks in it'll be running Dual Channel.

Now, what sort of problems am I likely to encounter, considering:

1) The different speeds (fixable by OCing)
2) The different brands
3) Vista 32bit
4) Using all 4 RAM slots (Gigabyte DS3P)

I do actually have Vista 64bit as well (Technet), but can't be bothered installing it as I've just got 32 the way I want it ;)

Actually the timings might be an issue, as the Ballistix is 4,4,4,12 whereas the Corsair is 5,5,5,15 so I might need to compromise there, depending on how tight the Corsair can go.

:)

You will likely have to drop the timings to 5-5-5-15 and run it at 800. There should be no problems as long as your Corsair will do the same speed that your Crucial does.
