I am doing a project for my high-school history class. This project consists of many facts at which the class will have to write down once the information is presented to them. Last year we did a similar project and everyone was bored thoughout the entire presentation for every group that went up to present. This year, me and my group seek to spice it up a little.
We wan't to take our powerpoint presentation (Why PowerPoint? Because my school, and everyone in my group HAS the same version of powerpoint at home, therefore we can all work on some aspect of the project at once). Then comes my part of the project, I want to add digital effects, timers (To tell people how much time is left before the slide goes away.. so they know how much time is left to finish writing down important information.
The problem is, I do not know how to take the PowerPoint presentation, drag it into my Vegas 5.0a movie editor.. add music, effects, add photoshop backrounds.. oh my!
The only thing I can think of is.. Saving the PowerPoint Presentation in a certain format to even be able to edit it inside Vegas 5.0a. Going through with it this way would really be a nice additive and I hope this can be done. I questioned the teacher (Whom is taking a video editing class in collage presently, and he said put it to DV under a camcorder. I understood what he was talking about but I need max quality, and if thats the only way this can be done.. i need a little help as to how to finish this, get this completed.. I am a noob when it comes to recording computer applications with a DV Camcorder, then re-routing it back into my computer so it can be in a WMV or whatever format. If there is a more direct and easier way, that would really be appreciated. Thanks a lot!
