Hi Guys,
I currently have a Gigabyte GTX680, it's a reference design/clk speed card as I purchased it when they first came out. I game at 2560x1440 and while the one 680 gets me by in most games at high settings things like tomb raider obviously required me to drop a few settings like tressfx and ssao etc to maintain 60ish fps.
Anyways, I want to pick up a second 680 but the only 680s avalible where I live now are all super overclock versions of the cards etc now.
Is there any issue if I SLI my ref gigabyte with something that has a faster clck/mem speed etc? I know that the faster card should slow down to match the ref card but does this cause any stability issues or any other bugbears to be aware of?
Thanks
Larnz
