Mixing Memory Kits

Hello
I need to upgrade my memory from 2 sticks of 2GB to 8GB to meet the requirements of Fallout 4.

I have:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL0
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 9-9-9-24-2N
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

I bought this in 2010 but I see that these kits are still on sale. So would I be reasonably safe in just buying another kit for $27 or is this too risky and I need to get a matched 8GB kit?

My system specs:
GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 AM3 AMD 870 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD 870
Phenom II / Athlon II / Sempron
*******************************
AMD CPU HDZ955FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz AM3
*******************************
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)
F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL0
*******************************
SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W
*******************************
XFX ATI Radeon HD6870

Thanks

You can safely mix kits with the same timings/voltage at reasonable speeds like 1333/1600.

I'll wait for the game to be released before I decide what needs to be upgraded. The newly released Fallout 4 system requirements may be exaggerated.

Your HD 6870 graphics card and maybe also your CPU could be in more need of an upgrade than your current 4GB of RAM. Of course, those upgrades would be much more expensive than 4GB or DDR3.
