Mixing ECC and non-ECC a problem?

Currently have 2x128 MB RDRAM PC800, and looking on ebay for another 2x128 (I have to upgrade in pairs right?) but some of the ones i've seen online are ECC. Will the ECC function properly with the non-ECC?
