Mixed Wireless Network

I was helping my dad's friend out with his home network. It's pretty basic.

XP Pro Machine - Wired
XP Pro Machine - Wireless (Linksys USB)
XP Home Machine - Wireless (Linksys USB)
2k Pro Machine - Wireless (Dell wireless PCMCIA card)

All being connected to a linksys BEFW11P1. I am not familiar with this product at all and found it to have less features then the combo units with the antena.

Anyway. I was there helping him trying to get everything working and shared. We started using the point with No Wep just so everything would work and what not. After about 10-15 minutes all the wireless devices would lose connection. After changing the channel on the router they would work for another 10-15 min then not again. They would also work after the router was rebooted. So basically the channel seemed to go bad after 10-15 minutes.

So this is just freakin annoying the crap out of me. I expected to be done with his house in an hour or 2 and ended up staying all night. Has anyone heard of this before?

All the machines have about 4 users on them. Each one has a printer. What is the best way to allow each machine to access each other? Can you add accounts to XP boxes for just printing? What do you reccommend? I am tired and angry, I'm going to bed. I hate computers... until tomorrow.

Try unchecking the "Use 801.1x Authentication" box on the properties for the wireless connection, I found that would kick out the connection after a while. After unchecking it, my connections have been fine for weeks (USB adapter on my server, which hardly ever gets rebooted)

Confused
