Regardless of parentage, if they LOOK black they call themselves black or if they LOOK white they call themselves white.

You don't see a black person claiming to be white or a white person claiming to be black even if they have one parent of each if they DON'T look the color.

Everything in your list is related to black culture, not just calling yourself black or being genetically black. Just because you call yourself black doesn't associate you with the culture. 1/3 blacks aren't in jail just because they're black or because they call themselves black. They're in jail because of gangster culture, absence of father figures, and piss poor parental supervision. The rest of the items in your list are a result of this.

The only things you can legitimately complain about are genetic differences (higher chance of heart attack and anemia) and racial prejudice.

Because if you look black, but are obviously mixed, people treat you as a black person. You get all the negatives of being black.

I am mixed and not "hiphop" or gangster, but there are many times when I get discriminatory treatment. I'm not bitter, it's just something you deal with.

Wrong. The things you list are representative of ghetto culture. All black people aren't poor and all poor people aren't black. You'll find many other poor people who look at crime and violence as a life style, don't look after the kids and have absentee parents (not just father figures).

I have several black friends that are in medical school, law school, pharmacy school ... but 90% of them came from affluent families. Their parents are doctors or professors. The other 10% went against the grain in poverty-stricken, inner-city schools.

Wrong. Income is not an excuse. It all begins with a solid family structure.
Being poor strains a relationship but love and morals prevents it from "breaking".

I never said all black people are poor or that all poor people are black. I never said this is strictly a black problem. There are many white people who make a life out of crime and violence. All I said is that your list of "issues with America" aren't caused by being black. They're caused by the way people are raised.

That depends. I don't know many Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Korean that have been in trouble with the law ... but I do know several Cambodians that have been in deep legal shit.

um, that isn't entirely true. I have seen plenty of white people claiming to be black on tv talk shows.
