Mitsumi 7in1 Floppy & Card Drive - install question URGENT

There are 3 connections (power, traditional floppy (flat wide), and a USB). Do I plug in both the USB cable AND the floppy cable, along with the power? Or, do I only plug in one? If one, which one should I use?

Really! Is there a reason why both are plugged in?

From Mitsumi website - On features list it states, "USB Powered: No extra power supply required" - What does this mean? Should I have not plugged in the power cable (from the PSU)?

I've installed dozens of these drives, and you only need the 3 connections that I quoted in my last post.

"USB Powered: No extra power supply required" - What does this mean?

It means that the 4 pin floppy power connector will provide ample power to the unit.

John's got the plan. But I would have chosen the similar YE Data model instead.
