Verified this price today, sign in the store said it's good until the 24th. This is a tremendously smoking hot deal as this TV retails for $2099 and usually sells for around $1500-ish.

I have this TV and it is awesome. This is actually a newer version of my TV. True 1080p is phenomenal looking. It is DLP so you will have to buy a 300$ bulb every 3 years or so. I actually got the extended warranty with mine and it covered it.
Here is my actual TV. I paid about 2600$ for mine about 4 years or so ago and I still consider it a bargain. Love it. Phenomenal TV for 1000$ bucks.

I have the 73837 and loving it.
Whether 3d gaming or playing BD movies or watching sports on D*TV. This TV is KICKING ass big time.
I paid $1500 at Fry's over a year ago and consider it's one of the best buys in my lifetime, lol.

Sucks I don't have a Fry's nearby. I almost bought the deal Dell has right now for the 73C10 for $1099. I'm guessing it's an older model? I just haven't convinced myself to pull the trigger...

I really wish I had a Fry B&M near me. I think I'd give up my MicroCenter for it.

The -738 has a better SD upscaler than the 638/C10 series. And better color correcting tools IIRC. And I think it gets more attention from Mits for updates. But you can buy a DVDO...a separate box that does upscaling and some other stuff. Not as killer a deal as Fry's '73, but the best I can do here.

There is are some great threads on these over at the AVS forum.

I'm teetering towards buying a '65 C10.

where are you getting this price?
on fry's website the tv doesn't come up at all. There are other Mitsubishi 73", but they're listed at $2500.

On your desk as your computer monitor of course. 🙂 Hey, I can't reach my printer! (Ok, I'm easily amused)

I'd drive 100 miles for that deal.
