"This [Sunday] morning, Leader McConnell tripped at home on his outside patio and suffered a fractured shoulder," David Popp, McConnell's communications director, said in a statement. "He has been treated, released, and is working from home in Louisville."

So, he's ok, on a human to human level.

That said, Moscow Mitch is back "working from home" to continue to obstruct any meaningful gun control legislation, election security legislation, and anything else that might help our fragile experiment in democracy survive the Trump apocalypse, the fucking amoral scumbag traitor and subverter of our Constitution.

Like Harry Ried, if he doesn't like the legislation or policy item... it'll never see the light of day for a vote.

The senate has spent the past decade doing everything possible to avoid taking votes.

Karma strikes again. The next time it comes around and visits Moscow Mitch, it should be really interesting to see if he catches the hint that being a traitor to the nation isn't good for his well being.

I wonder how long it'll take before a leak occurs mentioning how some Democrat operative snuck into Moscow Mitch's abode and with extreme malice shoved this Russian sympathizer to the floor.

edit - Oh, I forgot....thoughts and prayers.

Don't worry, I'm sure you will still have him around to keep projecting your Russia obsession. Why don't you guys just man up like Snowden did, and move to Russia? You don't need to keep hiding in the "Russia Closet" anymore.

You're just a little child, lost in the wood. You don't even try. It's pathetic.

Why don't you forget the interwebs confusing things and go roll some coal up your poop-chute with your homies? It's probably the only thing you understand these days...

Has anyone dispatched "thoughts and prayers" yet?:D

I posted this elsewhere.
Maybe it applies.

Maybe it wasn't the butler that killed off our democracy after all?
The butler being Donald Trump.
Maybe the butler didn't do it.
Maybe it was the house madden Moscow Mitch.
Moscow Mitch as the author of THE MASTER PLAN.
Moscow Mitch, the real Soviet operative.
I think Robert Mueller investigated the wrong Soviet operative.

Putin: "He fell"
MoscowMitch: "I fell"

I'm sure his government healthcare package will get him thru. So, sorry, I'm saving my thoughts and prayers for the next 20 victims of some nutter with a gun...or people held in squalor in the land of the free, home of the brave (aka scared of their own shadow)

Russians are in fact responsible for interference in elections without doubt which favored Republicans. Mitch blocks efforts to prevent or at least mitigate this reality. Why do you support Putin over our right to have him not do what we know he is responsible for? Mitch is fine as he wants Putin as an asset against Dems and has said as much. Don't be a Mitch.

That sucks, but I'm sure his shell protected him from more serious injury.

At least now he's got a convenient excuse against cutting short the August recess.

He tried reaching out to the other party and broke his shoulder.

Just kidding, he was making another money grab and fell over. “I can reach Moscow from my house!”

You first, motherfucker since you love their help so much. Unfortunately since Mitch is still alive we will continue to have vulnerable elections.

Now if only he could get a taste of his own non-medicine and be forced to pay for the treatment out of pocket after a private insurer declined to cover it.

Don't worry, Mitch can still strangle gun control legislation in its crib even with one of his arms being gimpy.

Yup he can. He had no issue blocking the 911 responders bill. So he already has experience blocking g anything useful
