ive been a member of these forums for a long time, and while i used to post quite a bit in the past, i dont post that much nowadays. however, my friend asked me if i would do him a favor and try to clear up a bit about a misunderstanding and miscommunication involving a ban.

The_Mutha posted three topics all with the same title and content:

Topic 1
Topic 2
Topic 3

i think that these were the only threads he posted, but i may be wrong. anyway, he was a little unsure about posting polls and he did a triple-post by accident trying to get the poll to work. however, it was misconstrued i think as trolling or something like that. anyways, he was banned on Tue, 13 Feb 2001 21:42:34. he said that the moderator said he would only be banned for a week (and he agreed, even though he was not attempting to repost the same topic and break any rules). anyhow, it has been 10 days about and he has e-mailed the moderator(s) back several times and he has not received any replies and he still cannot log in or anything here at the forums. he just wanted me to post to make sure that there was no bug in his e-mail or that he had sent the e-mails to the wrong address or something and he wanted to remind the moderator(s) of his situation (that the week ban is over). well, i hope this clears everything up.

mod:

sorry, i haven't been able to log in to the forums in a few days because i kept getting a coldfusion error. anyways, i just realized that the email address that was in my profile was quite old and that since a few months ago, it hasn't really been working and i haven't gotten any of my e-mails through it. i just changed my e-mail address, so could you resend the message which you sent to my old address to my new address in the profile? sorry for the inconvience

edit: just had to change some wording which made no sense

heh, don't worry, the mods take a while to respond to e-mails, and sometimes they "forget" to unban people (like me!!) hehe, thanks for letting me back in though.
