Mistakenly locked

There was a thread for a 1.8" 20 GB portable drive on HD that was locked. I'm guessing it was locked because it contained a coupon code, but the code was actually on the page it linked to at the suppliers site. I thought that was OK.

Geez oldsmoboat, does your mind have a search function? That's great how you can pull info from your head like that (since I know search is borked, you couldn't have found it that way :p). I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

The search works fine if you know how to use it. Especially when you've had 6 years of working with it,
:p

It doesn't work fine for me, either - of course I've only been here 5yrs, 10 1/2 months so I guess I haven't figured it out yet. :)

How to search:
Go to advanced search
Enter a one word search term
Change "Search what" to Title and Summary (search does not search body)
Select one forum
Hit search button

In this case I searched "1.8" and then "portable" (w/o quotation marks). 1.8 returned nothing that looked like anything, portable returned a locked thread as the first hit.
