Missouri Police Officer guns down unarmed 18 year old

In these kinds of scenarios, I can see someone holding on to a video they shot that positively incriminates either the victim or the officer and not wanting to turn it in as evidence to support their side of issue, the truth be damned.

I'm always amazed at how incidents like this one takes on a life of its own due to the inclusion of agendas that are completely unrelated to the pursuit of justice.

It's clearly marked all on the front. Please cite a better source than that body drawing.

He's talking about the interpretations of another pathologist.
Shawn Parcells, a pathologist hired by Brown’s family, said a bullet wound to the teen’s arm may have happened when he put his hands up, “but we don’t know.”

Parcells said a graze wound on Brown’s right arm could have occurred in several ways. He says the teen may have had his back to the shooter, or he could have been facing the shooter with his hands above his head or in a defensive position.

What I'm getting overall is a nice load of reasonable doubt for a jury.

No I am talking about the person who did and assisted in the autopsy showing where on the body the hit to the arm was.

Oh gee does anybody really believe this cop would be convicted? If those cops in CA can beat a mentally ill homeless man to death on camera and get off. I dont see how a cop shooting some kid with a lot of unanswerable questions will find him guilty. If we can even find a prosecutor worthy of bringing this to trial. Juries seem to let cops get off with literally murder.

I think that if Brown was running towards Wilson when Wilson dropped him, we might have abrasions on Brown from sliding forward on the pavement.

Depends on how he went down.

First few shots could have made him stumble down to his knees, putting center mass shots near his face. If he went down to his knees then slumped forward, center mass shots would have hit his face/head just like the autopsy reported.

Then his knees would slide forward on the pavement. We'd see that on the shorts.

It seems like Brown would have gotten behind a car if he was being shot at while running away.

Like Johnson did.

Just saw this on the local news with CNN clip.

The witness (Creenshaw) said MB ran away and then ran back to Wilson. So the accounts of multiple witnesses such as MB ran away and MB ran back toward/charged Wilson could both be true. That's why all bullets hit MB in the front and possible from a distance as MB was closing in to Wilson.

Too many angles to know anything for sure except MB is dead and there were plenty looting and rioting in Ferguson.

Someone brought up a good point earlier that I wanted to reiterate. Maybe the reason his arm is covered in gunshots is because he was holding his hands up to cover his face. Ahhh!!

Use your fucking common sense people. Do you believe the cop with a squeaky clean record or the guy that just robbed a fucking store and choked a guy.

I agree, which puzzles me how to get past reasonable doubt given the circumstances.

That's the easiest part of it.

Most people seek the easiest explanation which conforms to their world view. It's an intellectual thermodynamics at work, the least expense of mental energy to reach a biased conclusion. Whatever works to sleep at night, and you see that here. He must be guilty. Look at what someone says. Look at this picture. Look at, listen to- OK, but what is the reliability of the statements? Eye witnesses in a sudden crisis are notoriously inaccurate, often conflating what they saw with what they think they should have seen, but so what? We know the black thug is guilty. We know the cop is a murdering psychopath. And above we all know things are absolute and agree with what we expect them to be and it's always straightforward. No shared responsibility, no possibility of confusion, no misunderstanding. Nice and tidy and wrapped up, tied with a bow. Keep things simple.

Well it's not like that of course, but you'll find people championing their cause rather than the facts and it's irritating. It's not about the truth, but winning for "your side". With that being the case reasonable doubt is an obstacle to the rush to judgement.

There are darker motives, but those are reserved for other people with a greater degree of perversion.

well shit. that does not help brown. it sure leads to teh cop shooting was justified.

i would like to see what the official report and the other two say.

gotta say it really looks like a justified shooting now.

My point of view on this topic just did a complete 180....

Much like the body of Brown apparently did according to the eye witness' 😱

What was previously me defending the boy on "Legally, you can kick someone in the balls/assault them and run away (and can be pursued, but not shot with deadly force from a distance)." - has now turned into "Someone was actively charging/threatening an officer of the law".

If you want to see what I was talking about getting shot from behind.

Go to about 19:15 in.

Before I watch that, I'll leave this:

County investigation: Michael Brown was shot from the front, had marijuana in his system

*edit

Damn, after watching your video explanation I realize the arms in that drawing are turned over. Absolutely backwards from what I assumed a normal laid out position would be.
That one shot IS the "back" of the arm.

In anticipation that Brown could be vilified by the results of the drug test, conducted as a routine part of the autopsy, protesters have consistently insisted that Darren Wilson, the officer who shot Brown, should be required to submit to one as well.

“What was in the system of that cop when he was pumping bullets into that boy’s body?” asked a protest leader, shouting into a megaphone, during a rally on Friday afternoon.

So basically even the protesters thought Brown was high before the results were released.

What happened to their "he was just a good little boy" narrative?

..the released security cam video establishes that and also establishes the questionable behavior of the "gentle giant". Giant new what he just did at the liquor store. It influenced his behavior.

So far, the 3rd parties have been wrong of what happened (hence, bullets went in the front, not in the back, VERY different scenario already).

I meant the medical examiner. NOT the witnesses who were his friends. They had an agenda. Nor the other police who said he was a good officer.
If he was a violent shitbag would they tell the press that?
