As a Cinema employee I couldn't bare that.

Its quite realistic. Every 5 to 10 minutes someone gets up and you cant see jack. Only the difference is the popcorn you throw at him bounces of your tv screen.

Nah I dont waste time with that crap either. Like listening to a 64kbit mp3 on PA system

wait, isnt Tom Cruise in a wheelchair, old folks home or something by now? What'd they do, CG him running around like he did back in the day or something. lol

See that would be the problem, if my popcorn doesn't hit the target I walk out.

Agreed

Agreed

Always wear your sweatiest pair of socks when going to the theater. If theres a problem just take of your shoes. Nothing does the job like smelly feet in a crowded theater

It was a worthy visit to the theater. Entertaining. Not as good as MI:3 (phil hoffman?). Prob 7-8 out of 10.

I'd give it 7.5/10 probably. There were a few things about it that veered beyond ridiculous and served no purpose other than to make you groan.

example :

The main bad guy, some very middle-aged politico type who looks like he's never seen a gym in his life, is somehow magically an amazing close-quarters fighter against a combat-specialist secret agent? Pfffft.

Totally agreed, would have made more sense if he was a younger guy or at least in decent shape, then Tom is chasing him down the whole movie. Thought all that was pretty lame. More of a bond villain.

I knew that the new Sherlock Holmes movie was coming out, but I didn't realize MI4 was coming out as well. I might have to go see this next week since I took all those days off.

Hmm that Young Adult movie looks interesting too. Man, I might have a busier week next week than I planned!

Wow I'm surprised by the 95% on RT! Will have to see this. Kind of hate Tom Cruise but sounds like it's a solid action film which is surprising considering the previous MIs were mostly meh.

Or maybe it's 5, I forget. This movie sorta snuck into theaters (not advertising like crazy like one would think). Local theaters only have 4 showings a day for MI4 and 13-15 showings a day for Sherlock Holmes (lame movies :O). For a big action movie that's very few showings.

94% on rotten tomatoes!

Seems to be little buzz about this one though (couldn't find any threads about it either). Anyways, I'm gonna go see it now. I shall report back later probably.
Um the movie isn't out yet.

Most poppe hate Tom but this movie has such good reviews we will all have to see it anyway.

Did you notice people here giving it reviews? They weren't just reviewing the trailer, ya know 😛 - It's opening weekend for it apparently. Strange it would open the same week as Sherlock but whatevs.

You guys are treating Tom Cruise as if he's Sylvester Stallone. Cruise is in amazing shape, and he runs like a bat out of hell. He's not way over the hill or anything like that. Lord Zenu has treated him well.
