Just heard on the radio that the two girls kidnapped in Lancaster CA this morning were rescued by police in Bakersfield. Report says they are OK. The perp was shot but is not dead....yet.
 
Good news indeed. Dont be too hard on the guys though. Remember if you go after someone with a gun, you could get others killed besides yourself.

The boyfriend said he thought the gun wasn't loaded.
 
Suspect is dead. This according to the press conference on right now. Suspect is dead.

EDIT- Suspect had THREE MILLION DOLLAR warrant out for his arrest.

I don't know how he could have known because he said the gun was semi-automatic. Unless it was a revolver there is no way he could have known unless the perp told him. If the perp told him then he should have whooped his ass.

It has happened before to me. I got my girlfriend and my friend out of the restaurant and called 911. I also had a description of the two robbers and their car.


Somone said the boyfriend appeared to be under the influence of marijuana.


The suspects warrant was for RAPE.

Yes I have a source. The press conference was just on TV and the sheriff said the suspect had a 3 million dollar warrant for rape. The perps name is Roy Ratliff.

I just had to delete what I really wanted to say. I'm glad its a good ending. Thats 2 in a week. 9 for 9 is really great news too.

Every cases are difference. Let say the boyfriends jump the guy and the worse cases are that both got shot to death. We would be here second guess the guys for being stupid (i.e. jump somebody with the gun on your head). BTW, if all the polices find are two death bodies and two missing girls without any other leads on what/who the guy was. What he drove, etc. don't you think they will have a little bit more trouble in find the guy?
