Missing some hard drive space

I started downloading a game and then paused it a few minutes later and uninstalled. I had 74 gb before the download now im sitting at 71.5 gb. I did a defrag and disk clean up, any idea where the other 2gb went?
 
Probably C:\Windows\Temp, or C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\temp

Open File Explorer, right-click on C:, do Disk Cleanup, and clean out temporary files.
 
Or do a file search for files created within # of days you did the download, since it might have put them in a different folder than temp files.
 
Also depending on where you download the game from for example steam, double check to make sure the game folder is completely empty as it could leave some files there too
