Missing power cable

I just bought anew power supply (pcP&C 750) and compared to my previous Antec (Antec TruePower 2.0 TP-II 550 ), it is missing a tiny three pin cable that goes to a socket that says fan on my Asus motherboard (Asus A8N-SLI ). Should I worry about this, and if so, what can I do about it? Also, as the new power supply is longer,I can no longer use the top fan in my case, althought here are still three other independent fans. I downloaded speed fan, but am a bit confused about how to interpret the readings. There are two flame symbols, which scare me! CPU is AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+

That 3-pin connector on the Antec PSU was just for fan speed monitoring. Yuo could monitor the speed of the fan in the Antec PSU. Most PSU's do not have this.

The Silencer 750W is a long PSU, but not unusually long. What case is it?

As for the two "flames" in Speedfan: What are they next to?

I'm not sure about the "criteria" for SpeedFan displaying the flame icon instead of the up and down arrows, but I've seen the flames even with temps that are well withing the safe zone. It usually seems to happen once the temp reading break 50C.

EDIT: I just looked at the picture -- the temperature sensors are faulty. It's a common problem with ASUS boards. With one of the older BIOS revisions, my board also gave me >100C readings.

Then I wouldn't worry about losing an exhaust fan on top. You'll just have more positive pressure which isn't a bad thing.
