Missing messages in WoW

I was hit by some sort of bug that unchecked my viewing of all channels and msg types and set it all to white colour.

I reset everything manually but can't find the switch to allow msgs like /random and experience gained from entering new areas.

Can anyone provide assistance?

I don't have an answer for you, but are you using Cosmos by chance? This would probably be one to post in the UI Customization forum at worldofwarcraft.com

right click on your message box... there are all kinds of options here...colors channels etc you can set..
also make sure you update Cosmos every day.. he tries to push a new build every night

I did the first part of course but couldnt find the appropriate type

Haven't updated cosmos though. Will try that tonight thanks
