missing Format button in excel menu bar

like the title says, the Format button, between Insert and Chart, is missing. My friend alt +dragged it off somewhere and now its gone. How do i get it back?

Go to View, Toolbars and at the bottom of that menu is "Customize". From there, you can look through all the available buttons for all the toolbars and found your lost friend. Simply drag him back to the place you would like to put him.

Came out of the woodwork just for than one huh?

Also, you can right click on your command bar and select the Customize.... command from there.
