Missing files during XP install!!

I'm installing Windows XP Pro w/sp2 to newly formatted HD's and while setup it said it could not find UlSata.sys, UlSata.inf, and one other file. Now can these files be added on to the directory later or does it need during the setup?

Well, I tried skipping the files, but when win rebooted it gave blue screen saying maybe HD isn't good or controller.
I'm gonna try remove the memory and reinsert it and see what happens.

do you have a sata hdd as those files seem to suggest?
if yes, did you remove the floppy with the sata drivers before xp needed them?

I recently reinstalled XP Pro and had a couple BSOD before the install would complete. So I tried installing it a third time when finally the install completed without a hitch. But after installing SP2 (via Windows Update website), I noticed that the Windows splash screen was missing the word "Professional" and the copyright year. I've been using the new install for a few days now with no problems, though. Previous installs (without SP2) didn't have that minor issue. Hmmmm.

I read on CNET that SP2 is pretty much a major overhaul of XP and may cause problems with some programs not working correctly (or at all). Let's see if the next version of Windows is better - not!
