Hi

Im new to this forum, and as you soon will soon notice Im not from a English speaking country, but I will try my best to make myself understood

Im just finished upgrading my pc with a new motherboard (MSI 845PE Max2Fir), Cpu ( P4 2,53 GHz).

I have installed Win98SE and all seems to work fine, but I have trouble installing drivers to the integrated sound and ethernet.

When I started the pc the first time after upgrading, PCI System Management Bus was disabled in bios, and now I get a message that drivers for this is missing. When trying to install driver for sound, setup cant finish and I get a message that Msqsrv is not responding.

Are the missing driver for Pci System Management Bus the reason I can`t get the drivers for sound and ethernet installed?

Thanks in advance

No, something else is screwed here. The SMbus device doesn't actually need any drivers, but if you want to get rid of the question mark in Device Manager, you can install Intel's chipset identification not-really-a-driver package to teach your Windows what it is.
