Missing Device Manager Label in XP-Pro

In doing some cleanup after a temporary HD installation, I noticed that in the Device Manager, the CD-ROM drives were there, the icon was there, but the label "CDROM" was not. I've read from the CDR and written to the CD-RW without incident. So - it looks like the only thing that is wrong is the label itself.

Has anyone seen this before and know of a fix?
